Investor Perspective: Eric de Vaan, CEO of Yalelo Uganda, emphasized Uganda’s stability and strong currency, reinforcing its attractiveness for investment.

Members raised queries on SHIPU’s mandate, investor protection, taxation, land and zoning, sustainability, governance, and sector-specific support, all of which were addressed with clear and constructive responses.
We thank SHIPU, the Netherlands Embassy, and all Government stakeholders( Ministry of Trade Industry and Cooperatives, Ministry of Finance MoFPED, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), Uganda Investment Authority, Uganda Registration Services Bureau URSB and Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) for a solution-oriented session.
