About NUTIP

The Netherlands – Uganda Trade and Investment Platform (NUTIP), is a Ugandan association that harnesses the economic power of cooperation between Dutch and Ugandan entrepreneurs.

Objectives

  • Bring together businesses from the Netherlands and Uganda to promote common private sector investment interests.
  • Work as a one-stop centre for information about the investment environment with regard to opportunities, research, challenges, policy briefings and matchmaking.
  • Create market linkages between the Netherlands and Uganda.
  • Promote a good working relationship between private sector communities in the two countries and, when possible, develop Europe-Uganda relations.
  • Act as a precursor to the establishment of chambers of commerce by the Netherlands as well as Europe as a whole.
  • We expect large companies to mentor SMEs to success.

NUTIP address investor’s problems to the Government and as such it improves the business environment for existing entrepreneurs and incoming investors. We can provide trouble shooting and assistance in conflict situations.

Business Insights & Information

We carry out market scans, research and surveys on business-related topics, making us a one-stop centre for information on the business climate in Uganda and the Netherlands.  We provide information on Ugandan rules and regulations.

Through B2B ‘ Ted Talks’  and matchmaking we assists companies in seeking out partners for conducting business within the Netherlands and Uganda.

    Leontina Namatovu, an experienced manager in facilities services, excels in Customer Service, Strategic Planning, Public Speaking, and Human Resources. she currently serves as the Operations Director at Expat Assist Uganda, specializing in relocation, immigration, and business support services, aiming to enhance experiences for individuals in Uganda

    Anna, a lawyer turned advocate for sustainable tourism, joined Matoke Tours in 2012 after working with UNESCO. Her expertise spans strategic planning, project development, and consultancy in Uganda’s tourism sector, supporting Matoke Tours’ commitment to sustainable development.
