NUTIP address investor’s problems to the Government and as such it improves the business environment for existing entrepreneurs and incoming investors.

The Orange Carpet Visa Facility (OCVF) programme is a simplified visa application procedure for staff members of companies or other entities that have significant and/or substantial business relations with the Netherlands and a demonstrable need to visit the Netherlands regularly. The programme offers long-term (6 months to 3 years) multiple entry visas to Netherlands. This applies to Ugandan companies that want to invest in the Netherlands with the support of NUTIP. If the requirements of the programme are met, we can recommend our members after vetting them for this visa.
NUTIP together with the EKN promotes diversity and growth of business ideas through B2B networking events that are conducted per quarter of the year with over 100 Dutch and Ugandan entrepreneurs who actively to exchange experience and gain knowledge.

Incoming and outgoing trade missions offer our members the opportunity to explore international business opportunities, meet business partners, potential buyers or agents, learn about doing business in the host country and gain exposure to the social and business cultures of both countries. NUTIP is highly involved in the organisation of these trade missions and our members are given priority when selecting beneficiaries for these programmes.
NUTIP can provide you with market surveys and data from previously done scans, including socio-economic developments, trends in trade and investment, macroeconomic developments, political situations, financing options, logistics, and business etiquette. We carry out research and studies on business-related topics, making us a one-stop centre for information on the business climate in Uganda and the Netherlands.

We organise, facilitate and sponsor trainings based our members’ needs, including finance, CSR, business ethics, cultural differences and others. These trainings are not only for top executives, but for a wide range of staff that promote the growth and sustainability of member organisations, such as accountants, farm operators and marketers.
The matchmaking programme assists companies in seeking out partners for conducting business within the Netherlands and Uganda. The programme finds business contacts and identifies individual matchmaking possibilities.
